I ran across a poll about the British Royal Family last week. The poll questions were either yes, no, or maybe. I had a lot of variables and thoughts on the questions, so I have answered the questions and stated the reason for my answer.

Should King Charles III forgive Prince Harry?

-yes, The appearance of family unity has been a hallmark of the royal family for decades.  Also I hope that Prince Harry would like his children to know and love their grandfather, especially given the close relationship he appeared to have with both John Spenser, 8th Earl Spenser, and Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh.  However, I feel too much has happened for King Charles III [and the rest of the family] to fully forgive and forget all the statements and allegations made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Do you hope Princess Charlotte plays a major role within the royal family in the future?

– yes, I do hope that Princess Charlotte will support Prince George as Princess Anne supports King Charles.  With the influences of Princess Anne, Princess Catherine and Duchess Sophie as her models, Princess Charlotte could play a valuable role in the future monarchy, whether it be as a working royal or as a support system for George.

Should Meghan Markle and Prince Harry be stripped of their HRH titles completely?

– yes, but… Prince Harry was born a HRH as the son of a male-line descendent of King George III, so I am uncertain how to resolve that issue with him. The HRH could be removed from Meghan Markle using a Patent by the King. The issue of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet is another tricky issue because they are the grandchildren of the ruling monarch …

Should Prince William and Prince Harry mend their rift?

-yes, however there’s is a lot water under their bridge.  Prince Harry has repeatedly revealed his selfish side in a spectacular fashion. Prince William might feel that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cannot be “trusted” to be discreet about family events and conversations. There would need to be strict protocols for the Prince Harry family to follow at royal events. The Prince Harry’s could be eased carefully back into the family. I have always thought that Meghan and Harry could live a life similar to either Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, or Zara Phillips and Mike Tisdall.

Should Meghan Markle be allowed to use her HRH title in private?

-nope, Meghan Markle has shown that she does not follow rules or guidelines.  I think that she feels she is “above” the rules. She was raised primarily as a only child and I believe it shows.

Do you think Meghan Markle came across as “fake” in her Netflix show With Love, Meghan?

-yes, Meghan Markle appeared stiff and artificial. The whole series seemed highly orchestrated and overly planned. I was surprised that Meghan was not more at ease in front of cameras; it may have been the pressure of the situation got to her. Also, it was not filmed at her home so she might have not been as comfortable in that setting.

Do you think Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should lose their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles?

-yes, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer working royals and have shown no indication of returning to the job of working royal.

Should Prince Andrew be allowed a royal comeback?

-no, Prince Andrew has too many documented scandals and has made too many questionable statements to the press and individuals. His best course of actions would be to focus on his grandchildren and find a quiet hobby to keep himself busy.

Should Meghan Markle get her own talk show after her appearance on Drew Barrymore’s?

-heck no, Meghan Markle tried to host a podcast with guests and failed.  She has a (unattainable for others) lifestyle show on netflix. We’ve had enough of Meghan on our screens!

Do you worry Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis could become royal ‘spares’?

-no, Will and Kate are on the lookout for unequal treatment amongst their children.  William saw how it affected Harry, and Catherine was raised with two siblings where she witnessed a balancing of sibling feelings and expectations.
