I have wanted and planned to write a blog for a couple of years, however I talked myself out of it. Who would want to read about me? What of importance do I do? Could I maintain a blog? No one, nothing, and nope were my constant answers. Today I am optimistic, have a partner in blogging (blowing kisses to Dana), and have a written list of topics I love to think and talk about. I have life experience enough to know that people are more inclined to try something new or challenging when they see someone has done it. In that vein, I followed Taylor Stanford‘s guide to starting a blog and feeling very energized about my ability to share myself.

I felt a connection to the way Taylor presented her pre-blogger self as stuck and ready for change. I am ready for positive change and tackling something I felt called to do and was intimidated to try was just the thing. So… a blog!

I plan to

  • showcase books I am reading; I love to read and will go on and on about certain series, and some books do not deserve anymore of my time and will be treated as such
  • my ongoing crafting projects – knitting, crochet, and witch
  • my diy dreaming and final projects (spoiler we are undertaking a rather large one right now)
  • mostly you will have a view of my funny, striving to do better, imperfect life

I am looking forward to this adventure.
